The Lee County Sheriff's Office Traffic Unit is providing the information listed below in continuing efforts to increase traffic safety awareness and education, plus to emphasize the importance of obeying traffic laws to reduce traffic crashes, injuries and death on Lee County roads.

Officials: New church project on schedule

After meeting for nearly five years in Fort Myers, officials of the North Fort Myers Presbyterian Church said they are well on their way to opening their new church on schedule this July or August.

Academy for the Arts presents ‘Oklahoma!,’ hosts other artistic events

North Fort Myers own Academy for the Arts, with it’s numerous talented students in a variety of artistic endeavors, has been a busy place over the last few weeks. The school has hosted two big artistic events, and has one more upcoming.
