By Staff | Nov 15, 2008

Fort Myers police were called to home invasion robbery at 5340 Summerlin Road shortly after 1:30 p.m. Friday.

The victim told officers two men entered her apartment through the back door. They demanded money and stabbed her multiple times. She was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police set up a perimeter using K-9 and the Lee County Sheriff’s Office Aviation Unit to canvas the area but did not locate any suspects.

The victim described the first suspect as African American, about six feet tall, with a thin build and a mole under one eye. She described the second suspect as being of Asian decent, with long straight black shoulder-length hair and shorter than the first suspect.

Anyone with information is asked to call FMPD at 321-7700 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS.
