Cape Coral police have released the name of the white male who was found dead this morning near the intersection of Diplomat Parkway and Burnt Store Road.
The man has been identified as Robert Dean Murray, 71.
Police received a 9-1-1 call reporting a body at that location shortly after 9 a.m.
The cause of death has not been determined at this time, officials said, adding additional details will be released when available.
