By Staff | May 14, 2009

In an effort to meet the needs of working adults and busy parents who lack flexible schedules, Florida Gulf Coast University’s Office of Continuing Education has partnered with American Safety Council to offer several safety courses and professional services online.
The new online courses and services are available to the community 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Featured online courses include Florida Traffic School necessary for traffic ticket dismissal and fulfilling court orders, Boating Safety School, and Occupational Safety and Health Standards courses often required by employers in the construction and general industry.
Featured online services include Florida Notary Service for professionals who are applying to become a Florida Notary Public or renewing their license; Florida Incorporation Services for individuals starting a new business; and access to Florida Driving Records for anyone who has held a Florida Drivers License.
For a full listing of the new online courses and services available and to register, go to www.fgcu.amersc.com
The vision of FGCU’s Office of Continuing Education is to be recognized by business, industry, government, private citizens, and other entities in southwest Florida as the premier provider for professional training, education, and lifelong learning.
American Safety Council, Inc. and its affiliated organizations have provided educational courses, traffic safety training and professional continuing education in association with state regulatory agencies and court systems for more than 10 years.
