The Lehigh Acres Chamber of Commerce will celebrate the 55th anniversary of the founding of Lehigh Acres with a day of fun for the family. The celebration will be held on the lawn of Lehigh Regional Medical Center Saturday, Aug. 1, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and will be open to the public. Among the activities to entertain families are The East Lee County High School Drama Club storytelling and stomp team; Lee Combat Sports Martial Arts Sparring Exhibitions and photo ops with martial arts champions.

In addition, Truly Nolen will have its Mouse limo on hand for photo opportunities along with other antique cars. There will also be bounce houses, celebrity dunk tank, bake-off and face painting.

Admission to the event will be $10 per family or only $5 with the donation of a non-perishable food item or a package of disposable diapers. Donations will be given to Lehigh Community Services and Destiny Diaper Bank.
