Mack to hold health care forum
Congressman Connie Mack, FL-14, announced today that he will host a health care forum on Friday, Oct. 2, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Harborside Event Center in downtown Fort Myers.
Mack and a panel of experts in the field of health care will answer questions about the current health care debate and pending legislation in Congress. Current panelists include: Robert Sanchez, director of Public Policy at the James Madison Institute; Edward Morton, managing director of Wasmer, Schroeder & Co., Inc., and former chief executive officer of NCH Healthcare System; Ambassador Al Hoffman, president of Hoffman Partners, former U.S. Ambassador to Portugal, and the founder of WCI Communities, Inc.; and Jim Nathan, president & chief executive officer of Lee Memorial Health System. Additional panelists will be announced at a later date.
The event is free and open to the public. Individuals should register in advance on Mack’s Web site or by calling one of his offices.
Doors at the Harborside Event Center will open at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 2, and Mack’s office asks that everyone be seated by 6:45 p.m. Seating at the event is first come, first served.
