Police: Cape man sold marijuana
A Cape Coral man accused of selling marijuana to undercover officers in August was charged in the incident Tuesday.
Cape Coral police have charged Adam Stefanacci, 23, of 1531 S.W. 58th Lane, with possession of marijuana with intent to sell.
Stefanacci and two others met with undercover officers at 3:15 p.m. Aug. 7 in the parking lot of Wal-Mart at 1619 Del Prado Blvd., according to reports. Stefanacci and the two others sold the officers 33.6 grams of marijuana for $150.
The officers briefly discussed future drug deals with Stefanacci and the others, then left. The suspect marijuana was taken into evidence and field tested positive, reports state.
As a result of the incident probable cause was established for Stefanacci’s arrest, police reported.
According to booking records, Stefanacci was released Wednesday from the Lee County Jail on $1,500 bond.
