Suspect sought in North Fort Myers Wal-mart purse snatching
A mother with two children had her purse snatched Saturday while shopping in the North Fort Myers Wal-mart located at 545 Pine Island Rd.
North Fort Myers resident Cynthia Griggs was with her six month old and three year old when the incident occurred at approximately 10:50 a.m.
The suspect was described by the Lee County Sheriff’s Department as a tan white male approximately 5’6″ wearing black sunglasses, gray t-shirt, blue jean shorts and being approximately 30 years of age. He took the purse from the woman’s shopping cart and fled.
