Annual Fall Rummage at Good Shepherd Lutheran

On Saturday, Nov. 14, Good Shepherd Lutheran Church will hold the Annual Fall Rummage and Bake Sale to raise funds for roof repair. The event is from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. The church is located at the corner of Hancock Bridge Pkwy. and Orange Grove Blvd. Donations appreciated of adult and children’s clothing, household items, small furniture items and other miscellaneous items that will be accepted until Wednesday, Nov. 11 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Church Office. Clothing should be clean & wearable, household items clean & in working order, furniture dusted & usable, and miscellaneous items clean & usable. All donations are non-returnable, and if not sold, will be donated to an appropriate agency. A variety of baked goodies as well as a good cup of coffee will be sold in the Cafeteria. All proceeds from this event will be put toward the Church/School Building Roof Replacement Project. For additional information call Sandy at 822-3294.

Art & Craft Fair at Grace Community Center

The 2nd Annual Art, Craft & Plant-A-Palooza to be at Grace Community Center, 4151 Hancock Bridge Parkway, North Fort Myers continues Saturday, Nov. 14 from 9 to 3 p.m. The event is free to the public with ample free parking on the grounds. All food vendors, landscaping and plants, children's activities and farmer's market booths will be outside. All art and craft vendors will be indoors. Vendors will include jewelry, fine art, beauty consultants, candles, children's clothes, dolls, blankets and embroidery on towels, crocheted items, shell art, stain glass, wood pens and bowls, notes with custom design, soft dolls and animals, country art, baskets, wall hangings, outdoor furniture, plus an opportunity to order from companies like Pampered Chef, Tastefully Simple and Watkins. The Grace Thrift Store will have expanded hours during the fair to allow customers to shop for all sorts of bargains, so tell your friends and plan to join in on the great gifts while the selection is excellent.

Snowflake Craft, Trash & Treasure Bazaar at Buccaneer Estates

The Buccaneer Homeowner's Assoc. will hold two fund raising events in November. The annual Snowflake Craft Sale will be held in their Recreation hall at 2210 N. Tamiami Trail (one mile north of the Winn-Dixie) on Saturday Nov. 14 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Homemade crafts including jewelry, paintings, glass art, homemade jams and jellies and more. Baskets raffles and a luncheon will be available from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Free admission, free parking. The annual Trash & Treasure Bazaar is open to the general public Friday Nov. 20 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturday Nov. 21 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Bake Sale Friday, draw prize for $500 cash and raffle tickets for a queen size handmade quilt will be drawn Saturday.
