Americans have been celebrating and honoring veterans since World War I. Lee County Domestic Animal Services (LCDAS) joins the tradition of celebrating and honoring Lee County military personnel, as community heroes who served their country, affording all Americans the freedoms we continue to enjoy today.

During the month of November, LCDAS is proud to offer a free pet adoption for active and retired military personnel with proper documentation. The adoption of LCDAS pets includes spaying or neutering, age appropriate vaccinations, de-worming, flea treatment, heartworm test for dogs six (6) months and over, feline aids and leukemia test for cats, Lee County pet license for pets three (3) months and over, ten (10) day pet adoption health guarantee, Microchip ID, and a bag of Science Diet pet food.

For more information or to view pets for adoption please log onto www.leelostpets.com or call (239) 533-7387 (PETS).
