Children in the Suncoast area will again have a safe trick or treat experience, according to Suncoast Outreach Resident Coordinator Susan Gillespie.
"We have been doing this for the last seven years," she said. "Besides the Haunted Walk, we will have a Safe Trick-or-Treat on Halloween night."
The Halloween Trick-or-Treat for children is Monday, Oct. 31, from 7 to 9 p.m.
The Haunted Walk will be Oct. 28, Oct. 29, and Oct. 31, 7 to 9:30 p.m.
Entertainment will be provided by Florida Cracker Band.
The events are sponsored by the Suncoast Task Force.

A safe Halloween night is important to the area, said Gillespie. "It's no sidewalks, no streetlights (in certain areas) - it's a safer environment for children because of the economy. And many people in the area may have dogs for security, and you never know who is on the other side of the door. So we created a safe trick-or-treat for the holiday."
There will be candy, hot dogs, punch and even fried twinkies, with face painting and more.
