Ray Hair State Farm’s toy drive starts

December 14, 2011
By KATHY JONES - nfmneighbor@breezenewspapers.com , North Fort Myers Neighbor

Ray Hair State Farm has joined forces with Toys for Tots of Lee County and the Southwest Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce to make a difference in the lives of hundreds of less fortunate children and families.

"Throughout the state of Florida, State Farm is providing drop-off locations for new, unwrapped toys and gifts at their agents' offices," Ray Hair said. "We need age appropriate gifts for babies and toddlers ages newborn to 4 years, children ages 5 to 12 and teens and young adults.

"In addition to our Toys for Tots Drive," Hair continued, "our office has donated $50 Publix gift cards to 10 families here in North Fort Myers. The cards were rewards from State Farm for regional sales performance for the month of November. My team identified families in need and the cards have been presented to them. It's very gratifying that we are able to do this."

Hair's philosophy is simple.

"We make a living here in the North Fort Myers community," he said. "We should support that community whenever we can."

Toys can be dropped off at Ray Hair State Farm at 90 Pine Island Road in North Fort Myers Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., until Dec. 21. For more information, call 239-995-0202.
