On Tuesday’s Board of Commissioners Meeting 6/9/09 the following item is scheduled to be discussed: Utilities will be asking the Board to agree to terminate further North Fort Myers acquisition negotiations and authorize Lee County Utilities to request proposals from Cape Coral and North Fort Myers to provide an interconnect and bulk service agreement to provide sewer service to the Waterway Estates area. The interconnect would provide wastewater service and eliminate the need to expand the Waterway Estates Wastewater Treatment Plant.
