New traffic pattern part of the Del Prado Boulevard Improvement Project

By Staff | Nov 4, 2009

Starting at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11, motorists should be on alert for a shift in traffic to the east side of Del Prado Boulevard from just south of Diplomat Parkway to Northeast 9th Terrace. Travel lanes on the west side of the road will be closed to motorists which will reduce both northbound and southbound traffic on Del Prado Boulevard to one lane only in this section of roadway.
Advance warning signs, electronic message boards, flagmen and barricades will be used to assist those traveling through the area. Construction on this section of the roadway is scheduled for the next several months, Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The posted speed limit is 35 mph while traveling through the work zone. Motorists are urged to use caution and to seek alternative routes whenever possible. Weather and unforeseen circumstances may cause delays.
