Quality Self Storage offers help for drywall victims

In a time when drywall issues are the top of many local homeowner’s minds, a company on the border of North Fort Myers and Cape Coral is offering a special discount to those suffering from that home affliction.

Joe Gibbs, manager of Quality Self-Storage on Hancock Bridge Parkway, said his company is offering a special offer to those with drywall issues.

“We’re offering people with drywall problems 50 percent off for a full year of storage,” he said.

The business hosted a North Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce After Hours Networking function Thursday, Nov. 5.

Gibbs has been a fixture at the chamber meetings for many years.

“This company has been here since 2000, and I’ve been manager going on seven years,” he said. “The chamber is important to me not only for networking but for community service.”

His assistant manager, Edna Quintana ,agreed, and also noted that the spot is a drop-off point for Toys For Tots.

They become involved, both said, because they house storage for many local law enforcement and fire companies, including the Lee County Sheriff’s Office and the North Fort Myers Fire Department.

Food for the gathering was provided by Pincher’s Crab Shack, with Mark Holstine there to make sure everyone enjoyed the hors d’oeuvres from shrimp to crab dip to wings.

Pincher’s is looking forward to a busy season, he said, and hopes many will stop by the restaurant, which is located right on the banks of the Caloosahatchee River.
