‘Sunshine Kids’ benefit to the held Saturday
The “Sunshine Kids,” benefit for children with cancer will be held at the Fountain Shoppes on Pine Island Road in Cape Coral on Saturday, Nov. 14, from 1 to 5 p.m.
The center is just west of Carrabba’s.
There will be a silent auction, chinese auction and 50/50 raffle and more than 40 fine prizes including a Key West Express certificate, a shopping experience for 6+1 at Chico’s Warehouse, party baskets, Broadway Palm Dinner Theater and more.
For golfers the silent auction items, to conclude at 4:30 p.m., will include golf packages for four players at Venetian-Tiburon, Pelican Preserve-Eagle Ridge, Herons Glen-Pelican Preserve, Palmetto Pines-Pelican Preserve and Miromar Lakes-Raptor Bay.
For motorcycle enthusiasts there will be a poker run. To pre-register, for $15, call 443-3160. Participants will receive an identifying Kids with Cancer Pin. Registration the day of the event is $25. The run will be held Saturday, 10:30-11:30 a.m. at Harley Davidson-Fort Myers. The run will go to: Anthony’s on the Boulevard, Beef O’Brady’s, Ragged Ass Saloon (on Stringfellow towards St. James City), Bert’s Bar and finish at Stevie Tomatoes (maps furnished)
The winner will receive a 8gb IPod with camera, dual chargers, headpiece, carrying case along with a trophy.
