Snowman season has arrived at Cape Coral Central Post Office

Children are invited to participate in a free ‘Tis the Snowman Season program at the Cape Coral Central Post Office, 1030 S.E. 9th Ave., on Saturday, Nov. 28, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The annual program will feature activities centered around a snowman theme. Adults are invited to take a break from the busy weekend of shopping to bring their children to this festive program. Volunteer adults will assist the children with all activities.

A special Letters to Santa writing station will be available. Families can have a photo taken that can be used for holiday greeting cards from NetPost Cardstore; a valid e-mail address is required to complete the process. Children will be able to guess the number of candies in a jar, complete a holiday paper maze, and get a holiday face tattoo.

The children will be able to make a snowman finger puppet and learn how to remove used stamps from envelopes in order to start a stamp collection. In addition, V.O.I.C.E. representatives will be on hand to provide fingerprinting for the children. Adults will have an opportunity to see a Click-n-Ship demonstration, which enables you to print postage for your holiday packages from home with FREE delivery confirmation and FREE carrier pick up of the package(s). Those participating in all the activities will be entered into a drawing for a gift basket.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy for the annual Marine Corps League Toys for Tots program, for each toy donated an additional entry in the gift basket drawing.will be provided.
