David Edward Bourff

David Edward Bourff, 61, of North Fort Myers, died Nov. 21, 2009 at Hope Hospice, Cape Coral. He was born on June 11, 1948 in Indianapolis, Ind., a child of Phillip Edward and Shirley Anne (Mattox) Bourff.

A resident of Fort Myers for the past 30 years, David was an Army veteran from the Vietnam Conflict, Past Commander of Amvets Post #50 and Post #81, both in North Fort Myers and managed rental properties in the area.

He is survived by his wife of 11 years, Sally Lou (Neff) Bourff, his son, Jeffery Dale Bourff of Tampa, Fla., two grandchildren, his parents, Phillip and Shirley Bourff of Indianapolis, Ind., two brothers, Phillip Michael Bourff of Greenwood, Ind. and Greg Dale Bourff of Indianapolis, IN and his sister, Pamela (Don) Cathcart of Indianapolis, IN. He was the brother of the late Peggy Reilly, who died 14 years ago.

A Memorial service was held Saturday, Nov. 28, at 11 a.m. at the Amvets Post # 50, 2705 Garden St., North Fort Myers, FL 33917. Memorials may be sent in his name to the Amvets Post #50. Friends may sign the guest book for the family at www.horizoncremation.com.
