Gallo joins Cape Coral Eye Centers

Dr. Jennifer Gallo

Cape Coral Eye Center welcomes Dr. Jennifer Gallo as the newest member of its team of board-certified doctors. Gallo will practice at the Orange Grove and Bayshore locations in North Fort Myers.

Gallo completed her undergraduate studies at The University of Florida with a double major in Anthropology and Zoology. She completed her Doctorate studies at Nova Southeastern College of Optometry, where she received honors in all of her clinical rotations. Following optometry school, she completed her internship in Pediatric and Binocular Vision, Corneal and Contact Lens, and Optometric Primary Care at The Eye Institute in Miami. She completed her residency at Braverman Eye Center in Hallandale, FL, focusing her studies on the treatment and management of ocular diseases. She finished with her externship there in optometric primary care.

With dedication to community, Dr. Gallo traveled with Dr. Bruce Heikin Memorial Fund, a non-profit organization that provides comprehensive eye exams and spectacles to under privileged students in inner city Miami.

Gallo is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Florida Optometric Association and the SW Florida Optometric Association.

She comes to the centers from a practice in Port Charlotte, where she was a general practitioner treating patients with a variety of needs from contact lenses to glaucoma management.

She is a Florida native; raised in Bradenton. Gallo and her family moved to Fort Myers in 2003. In her free time she enjoys attending live theater and keeping pace with her toddler.
