Cape Coral Police are investigating a traffic fatality that occurred this morning at Chiquita Boulevard and Kismet Parkway.
At 9:07 a.m., Cape police and fire units responded to the scene of a two-car accident. The female driver of one of the vehicles was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a report issued by the city.
According to officials, the traffic homicide investigator is at the scene, and additional details will be provided pending completion of the accident report and notification of next of kin.
