LCSO seeking assistance finding man missing since Monday
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing adult. Robert Franklyn Hart, 31, has not been seen or heard from since Monday, April 19, at approximately 4:30 p.m.
Hart was last seen while at the Publix, located at Burnt Store Road and Pine Island Road in Cape Coral, with a co-worker. Hart’s co-worker informed detectives the two men were inside Publix when they got separated. Hart’s co-worker searched the store, but could not find Hart so he went home. A later review of the store’s surveillance video shows a male resembling Hart walking out of the store around 4:30 p.m.
Investigators have no reason to suspect foul play. Friends and family say Hart has been acting depressed and are concerned for his emotional state of mind.
Hart is described as a white male, 6-foot-3, 140 pounds, with short dark hair and brown eyes. He is clean shaven and has several tattoos. The most distinctive tattoo is a large Scorpion on the back of his left calf and ankle. He also has a large scar on his right shin. He was last seen wearing a light pair of pants and dark colored button up shirt.
Hart lives at 6011 Bomar Lane, Bokeelia.
Anyone with any information on Robert Hart’s whereabouts is asked to call the Lee County Sheriff’s Office at (239) 477-1000, or to remain anonymous and be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000, call Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS.
