Roger W. Johnson
Roger W. Johnson, 67, of North Fort Myers passed away at The Hope Hospice House in Cape Coral on Saturday, Sept. 18, 2010.
He was born April 4, 1943, in Duluth, Minn., a son late Reuben E. and Garnet Schmidt Johnson, now deceased. He was a retired supervisor from Airgas, a welding supply company in Duluth, Minn.
Preceding him in death besides his parents, was a brother, Randy Jorgensen.
He was a life member of the B.P.O.E. Elks Lodge in Duluth, Minn., a member of the Moose Lodge #2199 of Cape Coral and the Eagles Lodge Aerie #4270 of North Fort Myers.
He had resided in North Fort Myers for the past six years coming from Duluth.
He is survived by his wife, Birdena Johnson of North Fort Myers; his children, Kimberly Johnson of Duluth, Minn., Terre Johnson of Sacramento, Calif., and Travis Johnson of Superior, Wis.; five grandchildren; two brothers, Paul Jorgensen of Proctor, Minn., and Richard Johnson of Hastings, Minn.; two sisters, Violet (Gerald) Morse and Betsey Morse.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are being handled by Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 1630 Pine Island Rd., Cape Coral.
