Chamber celebrates business week
Small businesses are the backbone of our nation’s economy, and the North Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce is promoting them this week.
The Chamber will mark Small Business through Saturday, recognizing these businesses and offering them the opportunity to promote their offerings and bring people through their doors.
“Small business is the heartbeat of North Fort Myers,” said Wendy Murray, executive director of the North Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce said in a statement. “We will be celebrating with a shop local and give promotion all week.”
The Chamber will host a breakfast networking event on Wednesday at Perkins for members and prospective new members. Murray encourages all businesses to bring business cards for networking and door prizes.
Murray said there will be great opportunities to promote your business.
“Monday is Mention Monday with new social media posts every half hour. Tuesday is Take out Tuesday and we want to encourage people to take out from one of our many fine restaurants,” Murray said. “Wednesday is Welcome Wednesday to welcome new members. It’s going to be a great week.”
Murray said there also will be deals for new members that will include incentives that will add value to their Chamber membership.
The Welcome Center will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for business owners and residents to visit.
