The holidays are a time for indulgences and that means a trip to Rosie’s Gourmet Fudge. For 36 years, Rosie has been making special gourmet confections for the holidays.

In addition to the 30 flavors of fudge Rosie offers year round, for the holidays she adds mint chocolate chip and vanilla with M&Ms and a candy cane on top.

“We offer all sorts of sweets for the holidays,” says Kim Corbett, Rosie’s assistant, pointing to a display case full of colorful concoctions. “You can choose from chocolate-dipped marshmallows, vanilla-frosted pretzel rods with candy embellishments, chocolate cups filled with various flavors of fillings and our Christmas ornaments, which are fudge balls dipped in chocolate and then rolled in colorful sprinkles. And, of course, we have large gingerbread men, as well.”

During the holidays, Rosie offers a free box of fudge or sweets when you purchase three other boxes.

“Customers can order boxes to be sent to friends or loved ones and get one for themselves free,” Kim notes.

Rosie’s is also a drop off location for Toys for Tots and those generous enough to contribute a toy are rewarded. Bring in a new toy worth $10 or more, along with the receipt, and you’ll receive a free slice of fudge.

All the fudge and confections at Rosie’s are homemade on the premises and are preservative free.

Rosie’s Gourmet Fudge is located inside the Shell Factory at 2787 North Tamiami Trail, North Fort Myers, and is open from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m., seven days a week.
