Perico’s has become the place to go for music of all kinds in North Fort Myers, and on Tuesday, Sept. 30, fans of Old Blue Eyes will have a chance to hear some of his greatest songs.

And if you close your eyes, you may even think it was the Rat Pack crooner.

Ray Livosi, a well-known impersonator of Frank Sinatra will perform as Perico’s is transformed into an old-time supper club.

Tickets are on sale now. Seating will be at 5 p.m., with VIP seats $45 and general admission $35. The show will start at 6:30 p.m.

Gabe Costilla, Perico’s owner, said he’s been doing these dinner shows recently, including a Tony Bennett tribute just a few weeks ago and before that a Rat Pack tribute including Livosi and people impersonating Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr.

“He’s a great impersonator and a talented singer. He even looks like Sinatra a little bit,” Costilla said. “When he sings, he sounds like Frank.”

Livosi said he’s been impersonating Sinatra for about a decade after doing other impersonations from the Rat Pack and others.

“Danny Ganz used to do all these impersonations in Vegas. I did the same thing, but in California,” Livosi said. “I got a lot of requests to do Sinatra, so I was in the position where I started doing him.”

Livosi, who appears on stage with a full band, used to impersonate Sinatra for Universal Studios, the Fountaine Bleu and other big Florida venues. Though he recently has done shows in New York, New Jersey and Baltimore, Livosi doesn’t travel as much as he used to.

He and his band, the Wise Guys, are currently working on a video and CD.

Castilla said there will be more tribute shows featuring the music of Frankie Valli and Barry Manilow. He said he plans to do dinner shows at least once a month.

“We like doing shows like this. It’s music that’s understandable. He has a lot of professional musicians playing with him,” Castilla said.
