The Red Barn moves to North Fort Myers
The Red Barn, a Cape Coral business which has been serving Lee County for over 20 years, has relocated.
The antique, collectibles and home decor shop has moved to the Snowbird Station, at 1001 Palm Ave., at the corner of Hancock Bridge Parkway, in North Fort Myers.
“We are called The Red Barn and it’s a big red barn,” Lois Murray, who owns the business along with Louise Maloy, said of their new Snowbird Station home. “It’s a beautiful building … a very nice facility.”
The official grand opening was Saturday
The store’s most recent location was 836 N.E. 7th Terrace in Cape Coral, having moved there from its original spot on Vincennes Boulevard in downtown Cape.
Murray and Maloy are inviting all of their old – and new – patrons to stop by the new location to check it out.
“We will continue to help Lee County families with estate and demolition sales,” Murray said in a release announcing the move. “Come enjoy our store and have lunch at the River Station Deli.”
She also indicated that The Red Barn French Markets will continue with the first market set for Saturday, Nov. 5.
According to Murray, one of the reasons for the move is the fact that the Snowbird Station offers more room.
“We really needed more space for our French Markets,” she said. “The parking lot here is bigger.”
Vendors are now signing up to participate.
“We love our customers and appreciate their continued support over the years,” Murray added in the release. “Come see and enjoy.”
Store hours at the new location are Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
