Chamber to hold awards luncheon
The North Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce hasn’t had the opportunity to honor the area’s best businesses in quite a while.
However, on Wednesday, Feb. 16, at 11:30 a.m., the business networking organization is going to hold its annual awards luncheon at Gulf Coast Village at 1333 Santa Barbara Blvd. in Cape Coral, and it is inviting all local businesses to attend.
Wendy Murray, executive director at the Chamber, said they are bringing the event back now that people are willing to attend gatherings.
The Chamber will hand out the President’s Award, Small Business of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, and other awards, Murray said.
“It’s been a long time since we did it, and it’s something I wanted to bring it back this year,” Murray said. “It’s going to be a great time and Chamber members need to mark their calendar and call me to reserve space (at 239-707-6722) because we have space for only 40 people, first-come, first-serve.”
The Chamber Awards isn’t the only thing coming back. On March 19, the chamber bringing back Bingo and will continue on the third Saturday of every month at Pantanal, the new Brazilian Restaurant at 13101 N. Cleveland Ave.
