Lee County Tax Collector launches new website, LeeTC.com
Customers now have 24/7 access to “Edison,” LCTC’s new digital customer service agent

The Honorable Noelle Branning is excited to announce the launch of the Lee County Tax Collector’s newly redesigned website, LeeTC.com featuring Edison, their Artificial Intelligence (AI) customer service agent.
The new site features a cleaner, more modern design with easier navigation for customers and one click access to all services, including paying online.
In addition, customers can interact with our new artificial intelligence (AI), Edison, who is available to answer questions 24 hours a day, seven days a week. No more searching through multiple links to find information, just type your question in the chat and Edison will answer in a matter of seconds. The more questions he’s asked, the smarter he gets.
“This new website, along with Edison, takes the customer experience to a whole new level,” explains Tax Collector Noelle Branning. “Stakeholder feedback told us we needed to overhaul our website, so information is easier to find, and we listened. In addition, adding Edison gives customers a fun and informative way to interact with us, which is not something normally experienced on a government website. We are thrilled with the results and hope our customers feel the same.”
The Lee County Tax Collector’s Office partnered with Vectra Digital, a Southwest Florida digital marketing agency, for the design and development of the website. Founded in 2017, Vectra has been ranked #63 in the Inc 5000 in 2021 and named a 2019 GrowFL Company to Watch.
“People expect more when they look for solutions and answers online, and the digital-first vision that Noelle had was fantastic to help bring to life,” says Harrison Ambs, Chief Strategy Officer at Vectra Digital. “Going from a traditional inside-the-box approach to being forward-looking with your online strategy, especially when it’s so rare in this kind of space, can be daunting. But the entire team at Lee County Tax Collector’s office was enthusiastic, engaged, and willing to collaborate to bring that vision to life.”
Edison was created in partnership with CogAbility, a Florida based company founded in 2017 by Jim Hoskins, a former IBM engineer, consultant, and technology author.
“Lee County is part of a consortium of Florida Tax Collectors that have deployed Digital Employees trained at CogUniversity – the world’s first university dedicated to teaching machines rather than humans,” explains Hoskins. “Edison will interact with citizens on the Tax Collector’s website, delivering even more value to the platform.”
Edison and the website are the newest in a series of innovations led by Tax Collector Branning to better assist our customers. Others include a new queuing system where customers can reserve a spot in line or make an appointment, and a Smart Locker system to provide vehicle and vessel dealers next day turnaround on their title and registration documents.
