IMAG History & Science Center welcomes new board member
Lee Rendeiro, Attorney at Law, joins IMAG Board of Directors
The IMAG History & Science Center has announced Lee Rendeiro, Attorney at Law with Henderson, Franklin, Starnes & Holt ,P.A., as a new member of the IMAG Board of Directors.
“I’m excited to join the IMAG Board,” Rendeiro said. “I look forward to advancing their mission of inspiring people to explore and understand science, technology, engineering, and math especially since I have an interest in mechanical engineering technology.”
Lee Rendeiro brings extensive experience in patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. As a U.S. Registered Patent Attorney, he prepares and files patent applications, clearance and patentability opinions and prosecutes patent infringement matters to protect his clients’ creative works. Lee also handles copyright and trademark litigation and advises clients on appropriate courses of action regarding intellectual property matters, including licensing and contract rights. His strong technological background further enhances Lee’s collaboration and guidance on legal matters with his clients.
Before his legal career, he spent two decades serving in various engineering roles encompassing research and development, design, manufacturing, project management, and product launch. His engineering roles have spanned diverse technological areas such as power transmission systems, diesel / electric hybrid vehicles, vehicle exteriors, clean air emissions systems, fuel transfer systems, and chemical packaging systems.
Lee graduated with his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Purdue University. He obtained his J.D. from The Ohio Northern University, Pettit College of Law. When Lee is not busy working, he enjoys sailing with his wife, fishing, and learning to play guitar.

The IMAG (pronounced ī´mag) History & Science Center is a family-friendly destination featuring interactive exhibits, activities, aquariums, living labs, history displays, gardens, and more for all ages including a 3D theater and virtual reality and augmented reality experiences. IMAG uses the lenses of history and science to help people explore and understand the rich culture and habitat of Southwest Florida through science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM education) as well as history, humanities, and the arts. Located at IMAG is the Rist Family Foundation FABLab, a “digital fabrication lab” where people can make (almost) anything they can design and develop using advanced tools, technologies, and materials as they gain valuable knowledge and skills for the engineering process. Additionally, IMAG created STEMLab at Miromar Outlets in Estero. It is a vibrant, imaginative space that brings the inspiration and imagination of IMAG to families in the community to help enrich their experience of STEM.
