Best of North Fort Myers event honors readers’ choices

North Fort Myers Neighbor newspaper officials recognized the winners of their 2009 Annual Reader’s Poll at the Best Of North Fort Myers Appreciation Event April 8.

“It really is an honor,” said Linda Evans of Michael Evans Computers. That business was picked for both Best Computer Services and Best Computer Store.

Readers voted for the last several weeks in such categories as favorite restaurants, services, retail shops and medical and real estate providers.

Many local business owners and their representatives turned out to receive their certificates noting their “best.”

The event was hosted by the Shell Factory & Nature Park and held in the Party House. Neighbor sales associate Linda Frost gave out the awards, and popular local entertainer R.V. Parks was the emcee, adding his humor to event.
