Burglary suspects sought by investigators
Deputies are asking the public for help in identifying the men who were caught by surveillance cameras taking items from a Heron’s Glen home.
On April 3, at approximately 1:10 a.m., deputies with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office responded to a home located on Palo Duro Boulevard in North Fort Myers in reference to an occupied burglary.
The victim informed deputies that two white males entered his home while he and his wife slept and stole several items. However, the victim equipped his home with surveillance cameras and was able to catch the burglars in the act.
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying these perpetrators.
This incident marks the third burglary in Heron’s Glenn since the beginning of January. Investigators believe the two individuals captured on camera may be linked to the other crimes committed in the area.
