Two Teens Arrested In Rash Of Business Burglaries

Lee County sheriff’s detectives have charged two teens with burglarizing more than a dozen businesses in the Pine Island area over the past month. The businesses included hair salons, a deli and even a preschool.

Although there were no eyewitnesses, detectives meticulously processed the crime scenes and obtained numerous high quality fingerprints. The prints were submitted to the sheriff’s office Fingerprint Identification Unit. Utilizing AFIS (Automated Fingerprint Identification System), detectives received a positive hit on 16-year-old Timothy Colin Hill.

Further investigation reveals that Hill, along with 13-year-old Justin Alan Ens, were involved in at least 13 business burglaries on Pine Island.

Arrested: Timothy Colin Hill, DOB 4-1-93, of 4514 Gulf Shore Road, Bokeelia, charged with 13 counts of Burglary.

Arrested: Justin Allan Ens, DOB 4-14-95, of 12621 Gloria Blvd., Bokeelia, charged with 13 counts of Burglary.
