1 min read

A suspect is being sought by the Lee County Sheriff’s Office in connection with a charge of larceny theft in the swindle of four men at a local North Fort Myers park.

According to a department spokesman, the office received a complaint Monday, June 22 from the River’s Edge Mobile Home Park. Four victims said the suspect offered them jobs working on his boats, if they would pay $400 each for uniforms.

According to the report, he said he would pay them $16 per hour and let them liver in the trailers he owned there. He then left in an unknown direction, with the money and no affiliation with the park.

The suspect was driving a newer Dodge Ram pickup, and is described as a white male, approximately 35 years old, about 250 pounds, clean shaven with a mole/birthmark on his left cheek.

He also spoke fluent Spanish.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS.
