Early morning search in NFM for burglary suspects

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office was in full force in North Fort Myers early this morning, after a 4 a.m. call about a residential burglary.

Deputies are still searching for two male burglary suspects in North Fort Myers near Del Prado Ext. and US-41.

Deputies, helicopter and K-9 units were dispatched at approximately 4 a.m., with investigators still on the scene.

K-9 went out at 4:07 a.m. and helicopters were requested at 4:11 a.m.

Around 8:30 a.m, those two specialized units stopped and deputies are now in the area investigating.

No other details are being released at this time.
