The North Fort Myers Chamber recently announced the addition of Carla Moseley, who has been named new executive administrator.

“In this position, Carla will be responsible for a variety of programs and services. With her years of experience and her high energy, she will be a great asset to the chamber members, board, volunteers, and the partnership as a whole,” said Executive Director Kim Constantine.

“Carla and I will work together to expand the chamber’s outreach by gaining the support and participation of businesses and the community throughout North Fort Myers and the surrounding area,” she said.

“I am excited and proud to have been selected as the executive administrator for the North Fort Myers Chamber,” said Moseley. “They need a support system right now and I am honored to do that. I am committed to this position, and ready to work for the membership and the community.”

A Cape Coral resident, Moseley brings chamber experience and other to the table.

“I worked at the Cape Coral Chamber of Commerce for three years with Kim,” she said.

She was the membership coordinator at the Cape office.

“Basically I provided customer service to the members,” she said. “There were about 800.”

Before that, she worked for five years at Fidelity Investments in Cincinnati and before that, as a flight attendant for Comair Airlines.

She said she already likes the North Fort Myers area, after only being with and observing the chamber for a short time.

“It’s more of a hometown feel,” Moseley said. “People have been very friendly and welcoming.”

She talked about the types of support she will be offering the chamber.

“I will be writing the newsletters, updating everything on the Web site and providing customer service for members,” she said.

There are also still tickets available for the popular annual Celebrity Waiters event to be held Thursday, Oct. 29, at Faith Assembly of God Church.

“In addition to the numerous celebrity waiters, we now have a Bobby Bowden signed football and a Caribbean trip for two,” said Constantine.
