Search now on for NFM Bank of America robbery suspects
The Bank of America reopened quickly after men dressed all in black did an armed robbery Monday morning. No one was hurt.
According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, two men with guns robbed the The Bank of America branch on Tamiami Trail near Publix and Del Tura Monday morning.
The call came in to the Sheriff’s Office at 9:58 a.m.
“Two white males dressed in all black, with black gloves and masks and armed demanded money from a couple of tellers who complied. They left with an undisclosed amount of money,” said Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Tony Schall.
“They left in a white vehicle and we are searching for them now – by helicopter and ground.”
The good news, he said, is that no one was injured.
