Vital Job Vacancy and Hiring Survey now on
The Southwest Florida Workforce Development is requesting local businesses assist Brandt Information Services. Representatives from Brandt will be contacting local businesses by telephone to conduct a Job Vacancy and Hiring Survey throughout Southwest Florida from Monday, February 22 through March 12, 2010. “I have seen some signs of recovery and this survey will provide invaluable information about the sustainability of the recovery effort,” said Joe Paterno, Executive Director.
This survey will collect information on current vacancies and hiring needs by industry which will assist with reemployment analysis and job training needs. Survey information obtained will prepare the Workforce Development Board and the recipients of employment services with significant data enabling them the ability to make well-informed decisions on which occupations are critical to train for a skilled workforce to meet the needs of businesses and positively impact the reemployment efforts.
Brandt Information Services received American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) funding for this survey through Workforce Florida. All the information collected is confidential and no data identifying individuals, businesses, directly or indirectly, will be published or released.
Southwest Florida Workforce Development Board, Inc. is a private, non-profit, Florida corporation with a Board of Directors consisting of private business, economic development, education, community and state agencies representatives.
