Pre-Earth Day Coastal Clean-up April 17
Help jump start Earth Day by joining Lee County Parks & Recreation volunteers and other groups and others at the Pre-Earth Day Coastal Clean-up on Saturday, April 17.
Marine debris and beach litter will be collected along the shoreline and roadway near New Pass Bridge at Dog Beach and Big Hickory Island Preserve.
Check-in at 9 a.m. at Dog Beach, 8800 Estero Blvd., on the south end of Lovers Key. Trash bags, gloves and refreshments will be provided to all volunteers. Wear secure footwear, hats and sun screen.
