North Fort Myers Community Planning Panel Meeting
The North Fort Myers Community Planning Panel will have its next meeting on Monday May 10 at the Shell Factory Meeting room. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m.Commissioner Tammy Hall will be attending and available to answer questions regarding North Fort Myers issues. The Shell Factory is located at 2787 N. Tamiami Trail N Ft Myers, FL.
Relay For Life
The Relay For Life North Fort Myers event will be held Friday, May 14 and Saturday, May 15 at J. Colin English Elementary. The 18-hour event begins at 6 p.m. on the 14th ends at noon on the 15th. J. Colin English Elementary School is located at 120 Pine Island Rd.To register a team or for more information, call the American Cancer Society at 936-1113 ext 3904.
Traditional Summer Camp at the Alva Community Center
This camp offer a full day of excitement. This camp is for children ages 6 to 13 years old. The camp day begins as early as 7:30 a.m. and ends at 6 p.m. Day camp activities include arts and crafts, sports, organized games, quiet play, educational speakers, water activities, outdoor activities, field trips, skating, swimming, and much more.Regular registration is $67 per week/child. Help decorate the library meeting room with sea life art for our “Make a Splash” themed Summer Reading program. Design colorful fish, coral, and sea life of all kinds to give our room an “under the sea” look. Return in June for summer reading program events and enjoy your artwork! For ages 6 and up.
