DUI Arrest Update
Impaired drivers are a very real danger to themselves and, of course, any motorist who is sharing the road at the same time. With this in mind, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office launched a multi-faceted campaign of education, awareness and enforcement to battle this threat to our community. We have elected to publicize the names of those charged by deputies with the offense of DUI during the past week:
On July 5, 2010, at approximately 02:11 am, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies
arrested Jason Matthew Voss, D.O.B. 02/14/80 of 1627 Red Cedar Dr, Fort
Myers, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of Gladiolus Dr & S.
Tamiami Trail, Fort Myers, Florida.

On July 5, 2010, at approximately 08:05 pm, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies
arrested Michael J. Mendolera, D.O.B. 07/21/49 of 20080 Seagrove St,
Estero, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of S Tamiami Trail & Estero
Pkwy, Estero, Florida.
On July 5, 2010, at approximately 09:06 pm, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies
arrested Donald Charles Isherwood, D.O.B. 03/01/59 of 8098 Lake San
Carlos Cr, Fort Myers, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of S
Cleveland Ave, Fort Myers, Florida.
On July 6, 2010, at approximately 06:01 am, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies
arrested Julia Ann Birdman, D.O.B. 04/18/63 of 2010 Arcadia St, Fort Myers,
for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of 15021 McGregor Blvd, Fort
Myers, Florida.
On July 6, 2010, at approximately 07:41 pm, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies
arrested Dagfinn C. Saether, D.O.B. 04/02/42 of 26707 Hickory Blvd, Bonita
Springs, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of 8600 N Estero Blvd,
Bonita Springs, Florida.
On July 7, 2010, at approximately 05:25 am, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies
arrested James Michael Ballerstein, D.O.B. 12/23/85 of 134 B Dogwood Dr,
Dahlonega, GA, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of Camellia Rd &
Cypress Dr, Estero, Florida.
On July 7, 2010, at approximately 03:00 pm, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies
arrested Heather Ann Bake, D.O.B. 07/17/79 of 4830 Neal Rd, North Fort
Myers, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of Bayshore Rd & Williams
Rd, North Fort Myers, Florida.
On July 7, 2010, at approximately 05:34 pm, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies
arrested Alana Marie Grant, D.O.B. 09/21/68 of 208 Magellan St, Fort Myers,
for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of S Tamiami Trail & Coconut Rd,
Estero, Florida.
On July 9, 2010, at approximately 12:13 am, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies
arrested Diane M. Arends, D.O.B. 05/22/60 of 14040 Eagle Ridge Lakes Dr,
Fort Myers, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of American Colony
Blvd/Eagle Ridge Lakes Dr, Fort Myers, Florida.
On July 9, 2010, at approximately 01:07 am, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies
arrested Milton Emory Iles, D.O.B. 10/16/63 of 10963 Ruden Rd, North Fort
Myers, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of McGregor Blvd/Winkler
Ave, Fort Myers, Florida.
On July 9, 2010, at approximately 02:30 am, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies
arrested Ryan Thomas Dawson, D.O.B. 08/28/87 of 17312 Whitewater Ct,
Fort Myers Beach, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of 1153 Estero
Blvd, Fort Myers Beach, Florida.
On July 9, 2010, at approximately 09:21 am, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies
arrested Ronald Scott Wells, D.O.B. 01/09/69 of 1117 Gleason Pkwy, Cape
Coral, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of Skyline Blvd & Veterans
Pkwy, Cape Coral, Florida.
On July 9, 2010, at approximately 03:53 pm, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies
arrested Keith Christopher Vargas, D.O.B. 10/05/87 of 526 Shadyside St,
Lehigh Acres, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of 526 Shadyside
St, Lehigh Acres, Florida.
On July 10, 2010, at approximately 02:02 am, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies
arrested Christopher Eric Hudson, D.O.B. 01/24/64 of Fort Myers, for DUI.

arrested Jayson Warren Shepard, D.O.B. 01/14/82 of 18486 Miami Blvd, Fort
Myers, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of College Pkwy/South

On July 10, 2010, at approximately 11:00 pm, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies
arrested Juan Carlos Rubio, D.O.B. 11/06/84 of 1735 Brantley Rd, Fort Myers,
for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of S. Tamiami Trail/Six Mile Cypress
Pkwy, Fort Myers, Florida.
On July 11, 2010, at approximately 12:53 am, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

Dr, Fort Myers, Florida.
