Caloosa Auto Spa expands services to include auto repair and auto sound
Caloosa Auto Spa has expanded services from traditional (and elite) car washes to auto repair and auto sound.
Caloosa Auto Spa is a family owned business providing car wash and detail services for autos, RV s, boats and motorcycles, and now the repair and sound services.
Caloosa Auto Spa has been a popular stop for local residents for the last few years, and by expansion, the new partners hope it will be even more frequented.
“We’ve made a car wash a one stop shop now also offering complete auto as well to the customer,” said new partner Josh Zachritz.
Original owner David Magel started the business in 2006. “Josh and I have done business before, and talked about what we could do to better the business and help consumers in this economy.”
Magel said he believes the merging of two entities -car wash and repair – will help keep prices for services. “We have reduced overhead. The car wash already existed and with the partnership we can do more to serve the community, with better service – a quality service – at a better price.”
The business offers a wide range of services and deals daily, including “Wacky Thursdays” with a $2.99 exterior wash and “A Day At The Spa” – $49.95 for an elite car wash, oil change, tire rotation and 24 point inspection.
The business will hold a Grand Opening on Saturday, Sept. 11 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with live remotes from two area radio stations. “We’ll be giving away free car washes, auctioning off oil changes and a car stereo system,” said Zachritz.
“We are also donating the proceeds for 50 car washes to a local charity,” said Magel.
Both said the like the location, just north of Kentucky Fried Chicken and Arby’s on the East side of US 41.
Being “green” is also something the new partners emphasize. “We reclaim and recycle water. If you do it yourself it goes into the storm drains,” said Magel.
The facility itself is comfortable for customers, with everything from a flat screen TV while you wait to ice cream and designer coffee. They also offer a customer shuttle. Call for details.
They boast about head mechanic Rob Vallejo, who has numerous certifications, all hung on the wall.
