Gubernatorial candidate Rick Scott visits North Fort Myers

Republican candidate for governor for the State of Florida, Rick Scott, recently visited North Fort Myers as one of his campaign stops.
An associate of Tom Cronin, Sr. of the Shell Factory and Nature Park, Scott spoke about his platform, goals and plan if elected governor of Florida.
“His main focus is jobs and the economy,” said Cronin . “If you can stabilize the economy, jobs and the rest will take care of themselves.”
Several hundred turned out to see Scott speak.
Of these type of Town Hall meetings, Scott said, “You want to talk to as many people as you can, and get them out to vote.
“I think when you first get acquainted with these candidates it is on TV commercials,” said Tommy Hoolihan, of Tommy Hoolihan Real Estate and Lifestyle Centers. “It’s better to meet them in person.”
