EVENT INFO: The 6th annual McFlat’s Invitational Snook and Redfish Challenge will benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southwest Florida. The event kicks off at 6 p.m. on Friday, September 3, with dinner, an open bar, live music, raffle and Texas Hold Em’ poker tournament. The fishing tournament begins at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 4, with a kids’ fishing tournament from 10 noon featuring Ronald McDonald. The first 100 children to pre-register receive lunch with Ronald at noon. Live and silent auctions, a Polynesian-themed performance, dinner and awards begin at 5 p.m. The event is presented by Sanbill Homes and Realty Group at Tarpon Point Marina.
