Cape youth shot in Suncoast Estates
A 17-year-old Cape Coral youth was shot last night in North Fort Myers Suncoast Estates. According to a Lee County Sheriff’s spokesman, the injuries were non-life threatening.
“The victim was shot twice and the incident is currently under investigation. Detectives are interviewing the victim and witnesses.”
The incident occurred near the intersection of Hart Rd. and Zoysia at approximately 2:22 a.m. when it was reported, according to sheriff’s spokesman John Sheehan.
The identity of the victim will not be released as he is a minor.
