Polls were busy in North Fort Myers today, especially in Precinct 119.

Johnny Mangrum, who oversaw that precinct, said it was “extremely busy.” “By 2 p.m. we already had twice the voters as we did throughout the entire Primary Election.”

He said he also worked with the early voting office in Cape Coral.

“We were busy every day.”

Betty Logan supervised Precinct 68 in the same location, Good Shepherd United Methodist Church. “It’s been very steady overall and we did better than the primary.

She noted that many parents and grandparents brought small children with them. “The children really liked the “I voted” stickers.”
