Getting Acquainted with the Burgundy of Teas: A Keemun Tea Tasting
Keemun tea, known as the Burgandy of Teas, is considered to be one of the 10 most famous and most flavorful of Chinese teas and comes from one of the oldest tea producing regions of the world – Anhui. We’ll sample five different varieties of Keemun as well as learn of its lineage and which foods pair best with it. $28.00 per person

For Dark Chocolate Lovers Only
Love chocolate? What is the correct way to taste it? What was the chocolate war of the late 1990’s? Learn more of the chocolate world while indulging in six “hi-octane” samples containing between 60% and 87% cocoa solids. We pair them with a high quality Assam tea that can hold its own and there are no worries about over-indulging. These are exotic chocolates from all over the world and they’re good for us. And so is the tea! $28.00 per person

Mr. President, How Long Must Women Wait?
Considered a radical suffragist, Alice Paul and her National Woman’s Party picketed the White House and organized hunger strikes when thrown into jail. Celebrate Womens’ History Month with us as we take a look an amusing and dramatic look at the daring and charismatic woman who organized the first examples of civil disobedience in our country. Was she more radical than the British Suffragettes? We’ll leave you to decide that! $25.00 per person

Tisanes to Tickle Your Fancy
Just what is the difference between a tea and a tisane? We’ll learn the difference as well as the health possibilities tisanes have to offer as we sample five different styles. We’ll also share how easy it is to create your tisanes over a light afternoon tea fare. $28.00 per person

Remembering Miss Millay
A presentation for the passionate among us! Learn of the life and loves of Edna St. Vincent Millay, the icon of the 1920’s jazz babies and the first woman to win a Pulitzer Prize for poetry. Interspersed throughout the presentation are dramatic readings of her poetry. $25.00 per person

The Lavender Tea
Among the most versatile of herbs, lavender possesses a remarkable array of uses as well as a fascinating history. And you can cook with it! Join us as we explore all that lavender has to offer – including an afternoon tea featuring lavender tea fare. $28.00 per person
