Request for kidney for Fort Myers child
Austin, a 16yr old Ft. Myers child, is in grave danger this holiday season. He has Polycystic Kidney Disease.
Austin’s Kidneys are only functioning at 15% and is in desperate need of a new Kidney.
All he wants for Christmas is a chance to live, not a Wii, not a new bike, not a car.
This is a tough request, but imagine if this was your son clinging to life and nothing you could do to help.
The family is asking for the ultimate gift from a blood type 0 Christmas Angel.

A recorder will come on and you will receive a voice mail you will need to give your full name , who you are interested in being a donor for which would be Austin Columbe his date of birth 06-11-1994 and then you would need to leave a call back number where a member from the Living Donor Program would contact you and to do a 10 minute pre-medical screening with you over the phone to see if you can be considered for donor testing.
If you are a match, Austin’s insurance pays for the procedure and testing. Your cost is the blood drawing lab at your doctors or a lab such as Quest Lab. Quest charges about $25.
Please consider being tested if you have blood type O. You could be the Christmas Angel Austin is wishing for.
