Feast of the Nativity services at Church of the Holy Prophet Moses
Following is the schedule of services for the Feast of the Nativity according to the Flesh of our Lord, God and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Services are held in the Church of the Holy Prophet Moses located at 111 Evergreen Road, North Fort Myers, FL 33903. This is the large house with the metal roof at the southwest corner of Evergreen Rd. and Gail St. Enter through the back side of the building — after turning onto Gail Street, turn into the first drive on the right to park.
Breaking of the fast will follow the Divine Liturgy on Christmas Day, in the monastery’s new trapeza. Fish, eggs and dairy are permitted, but as always, we request that no meat is brought onto Monastery grounds.
Services will be celebrated by the Reverend Father Ioan Radu (ROCOR, New York).
Confessions will be heard before the beginning of Christmas matins on Thursday night, between 10:00 and 11:00 p.m. Or, if you wish, you may arrange to come see Father Ioan during this week. Christmas Eve, Thursday, January 6/Christmas Day, Friday, January 7 (December 24/25 on the Church calendar)
10:00 a.m. Thursday Vesperal Liturgy of Saint Basil the Great
11:00 p.m. Thursday — We begin the service Thursday night with Orthros of the Feast of the Nativity according to the Flesh of our Lord, God and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Orthros will be followed at approximately 12:00 a.m. (midnight) with the Divine Liturgy of Saint John Chrysostom.
At approximately 2:00 a.m. we will break the fast with a meal in the trapeza.
5:00 p.m. Friday Vespers for the Feast of the Synaxis of the Most Holy Theotokos

10:00 a.m. Divine Liturgy of Saint John Chrysostom for the Synaxis of the Most Holy Theotokos
5:00 p.m. All-night Vigil for the Feast of the Commemoration of the Holy Righteous Ones: Joseph the Betrothed, David the King, and James the Brother of God; and of the Holy Protomartyr and Protodeacon Stephen
