Breakfast with the Twins scheduled for March 5
The Minnesota Twins, along with team executives and players’ wives and girlfriends, will host the inaugural Breakfast with the Twins event Saturday, March 5.
Fans will have the opportunity to start the weekend at the ballpark while supporting a local nonprofit. A hearty Midwestern-style breakfast will be offered from 9 to 11 a.m. at Hammond Stadium located at 14100 Six Mile Cypress Parkway in Fort Myers. The breakfast will take place at the stadium’s Picnic Pavilion, located to the west of the left field bullpen. The cost of the all-you-can-eat breakfast is $50 for adults and $25 for children (12 and under). Seating will be limited.
The two-time World Series Champion and defending AL Central Division Champion Minnesota Twins will be practicing on the surrounding fields and batting cages. A raffle and auction is also planned.
ESPN 770 AM’s David Moulton will serve as the Master of Ceremonies. The Twins will be playing a spring training game later that day in Port Charlotte against the Tampa Bay Rays. Tickets to the game are not included in the breakfast price.
Galloway Ford has signed on as the presenting sponsor. Additional sponsorships are available by contacting Ryan Richeal at rricheal@playdeepmarketing.com.
Breakfast tickets are available for cash only at the Twins spring training ticket office or by credit card at www.ccmileecounty.com/twins.
All proceeds from the event will benefit Community Cooperative Ministries Inc. and its fight to end hunger in Southwest Florida.
