“Operation Medicine Cabinet” launches today at Chamber offices in North Fort Myers
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office deputies will collect unused and expired medication at several locations throughout the week as part of “Operation Medicine Cabinet” – a campaign to keep prescription drugs off the streets and away from children.
Collections start Monday, Feb. 7 from at the North For Myers Chamber of Commerce Offices located in the Shell Factory. All collection events run from 10 a.m to 2 p.m.
On Tuesday, Feb. 8 at the event goes to Lehigh Acres, to the Winn Dixie located at 1145 Homestead Road North; on Wednesday, Feb. 9 at the Lee County Sheriff’s Office West District Substation at Pine Ridge Road in Fort Myers; Thursday, Feb. 10 at the Regal Cinemas Gulf Coast Town Center.
Operation Medicine Cabinet ends with a final event on Saturday, Feb. 12 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Old Navy located in Page Field Commons.
